When you place an order, we collect:

• Full name
• Phone number
• Email address (if provided)
• Delivery address
• Order details (items, quantity, delivery date)
• Special notes or instructions

We do not store your payment card details. Payments are processed securely by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor. We only store a payment reference ID.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To process and fulfill your food order
• To send order confirmations, updates, and delivery notifications via email or WhatsApp (based on your preference)
• To contact you if there is an issue with your order
• To improve our service and menu offerings

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. WhatsApp & Messaging Communications

If you select WhatsApp as your notification preference, you consent to receive transactional messages (order placed, out for delivery, delivered, cancelled) from Nalabaagam via WhatsApp. Message and data rates may apply. These are transactional messages only — we do not send promotional or marketing messages without separate consent.

If your phone number is not registered on WhatsApp, your order confirmation will automatically be sent to your email address instead.

Your contact information is used solely for notifications related to the specific order you placed. We do not use it for any other purpose or future marketing.

5. Data Storage & Security

Your order data is stored securely using Supabase (a US-based database provider). We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls. Order receipt links expire for privacy.

6. Data Retention

We retain order records for up to 12 months for business records and tax compliance purposes. After that period, personal information is deleted or anonymized.

7. Your Rights (Washington State)

Under Washington State privacy law, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your personal data
• Opt out of any future communications
